The soft launch of Future of Technology Summit (FoTS) 2019 in Kuala Lumpur on 25 February 2019, marks the commencement of an industry driven initiative to spur a Trust -Based Economy on Governance and Businesses in Malaysia. This event which is scheduled in October 2019, is timely for the Government of Malaysia, in preparation for the next 12th Malaysia Plan (2021-2025). The FoTS brings to Malaysia and theASEAN region, the global ecosystem with capabilities in emerging technologies, legal and statutory, funding, etc. This could also be a strategic platform to intensify Malaysia's internationalisation agenda in providing linkage to global investment communities.
