  • This advanced course provides an overview of Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), which describes a framework for managing urban operations across three critical scenarios: daily operations, emergencies, and disasters. Participants will learn how to use data-driven approaches and digital twin technology to optimize city functions, ensuring citizen well-being, economic stability, and efficient service delivery during approx. 80% of daily operational time. This includes training on surveillance, digital services management, and fostering a connected digital economy. The course emphasizes leveraging smart city data to provide real-time insights and actionable intelligence, enabling cities to proactively address issues and streamline operations.

In addition to daily operations, the training covers emergency management and disaster response, which together constitute approx. 20% of operational time. Participants will gain expertise in deploying emergency alerts, coordinating emergency deliveries, and ecosystem management to maintain control during crises. The disaster response module focuses on building resilient cities through effective disaster management, interoperability, and responsive decision-making, ensuring rapid recovery and normalization. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with skills to manage the entire spectrum of urban operations, fostering resilience and sustainability in cities.
